Notes on New Zealand

1) The north island of New Zealand has some of the most beautiful countryside I've ever seen. 100% of the locals and tourists alike have told me that the north island does not compare in beauty to the south island.
2) I must have asked 1000 'locals', but apparently the is no such thing as New Zealand cuisine. I might come back when someone 'fesses up and tells me the secret. Hula hula ice cream does not, in itself, constitute a cuisine.
3) Kiwis are outgoing and friendly, while kiwis are shy and...well, frankly, I don't believe they exist.
